Available water deposits are often not recorded in their quantitative, qualitative, geographical and seasonal allocation.
When data are gathered they are often not stored centrally, they are not made accessible and they are not analysed. When data are available they often do not cover the whole region or they cannot be compared. In order to use the gathered data, they need to be converted into internationally standardised units (SI-units).
